Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and SupStudio (SupStudio; “we”, “us”, or “our”) about your use of our websites and mobile applications (the “Services”).

The Services include our current products — Sudoku, PlantPal — and any future apps, games, tools, or websites we release under SupStudio, unless a product states different terms.

By downloading, accessing, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Eligibility

You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live, and at least 13 years old (or the higher minimum age required in your country). If you use the Services for an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization.

2. What the Services include

Our portfolio may include games, utility apps, and related websites. Features differ by product and may change over time. Examples:

• Sudoku — number puzzles, daily challenges, hints, stats, themes, soft currency, and optional cloud sync / leaderboards
• PlantPal — plant identification and care guidance using photos or other inputs you provide, plus related reminders or history features where available

Some features work offline. Network features (sync, identification APIs, notifications, ads, or purchases) need connectivity and may rely on third-party platforms.

3. License

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use our apps on devices you own or control for your own lawful use. The software is licensed, not sold. You may not sell, rent, redistribute, sublicense, reverse engineer (except where mandatory law allows), or use our content to train machine-learning models without our written permission.

4. Accounts, progress, and content you provide

• Progress and settings may be stored on your device and, when cloud features are enabled, with an anonymous or linked account ID.
• Uninstalling, clearing data, or losing an anonymous ID can erase progress unless a recoverable sign-in is linked.
• You are responsible for activity on your device and any account access you control.
• For products that accept photos or other uploads (such as PlantPal), you confirm you have the right to submit that content and that it does not violate law or others’ rights.
• We may remove or reset abusive, fraudulent, unlawful, or broken data, including leaderboard entries.

5. Virtual items, purchases, and subscriptions

Soft currency, hints, unlocks, or similar in-app items have no cash value outside the product and are licensed for use only inside that product. We may change earning rates, prices, or availability.

Paid purchases and subscriptions are billed by the applicable store (for example Google Play or the Apple App Store) under that store’s terms. Manage or cancel renewals in your store account settings. Refunds are handled according to the store’s policies and applicable law.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Cheat, exploit bugs, manipulate rankings, or interfere with other users
• Probe, scrape, overload, or disrupt our systems except as allowed by law
• Upload unlawful, harmful, infringing, or abusive content or media
• Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, data, or infrastructure
• Use the Services for any illegal purpose
• Misrepresent AI or identification results as professional medical, agricultural, toxicology, or safety advice

7. Plant identification disclaimer

PlantPal and similar features provide automated suggestions that may be incomplete or incorrect. Do not rely on them as the sole basis for eating, touching, treating, or otherwise handling plants, especially where toxicity, allergies, or medical decisions are involved. Use your own judgment and consult qualified professionals when needed.

8. Intellectual property

The Services — including software, branding, design, puzzles, text, graphics, and other materials — are owned by SupStudio or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited license above, no rights are granted. Feedback you send us may be used freely to improve the Services without obligation to you.

9. Third-party services

The Services may use providers such as Google Firebase, AI/model APIs, analytics or ad SDKs, and platform app stores. Their terms and privacy practices apply to their parts of the experience. We are not responsible for outages or policy changes outside our control.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, ACCURATE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SUPSTUDIO WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROGRESS, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICES IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $50.

12. Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify SupStudio from third-party claims arising from your misuse of the Services, your uploaded content, or your violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or end access if you break these Terms or if we discontinue a product. Provisions that should reasonably survive (including IP, disclaimers, and liability limits) remain in effect.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them, except where mandatory law says otherwise.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable where SupStudio principally operates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except that mandatory consumer protections in your country still apply if they cannot be waived.
